Kraig Sandy is a passionate individual who founded and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of RVA DJ Sandman LLC, a music entertainment company based in Richmond, Virginia. Alongside his leadership responsibilities, Kraig also takes on the primary DJ role for the company.
Kraig’s journey in the music entertainment industry began during his high school years when he provided music for college basketball and football games. However, he temporarily stepped away from this role to pursue a career in public service. After more than 15 years in his chosen field, Kraig felt a strong desire to return to the music industry. With the support of his family and friends, he established RVA DJ Sandman LLC in early 2020.
Unfortunately, shortly after starting the company, the global COVID-19 pandemic hit, presenting significant challenges for the business. Nevertheless, Kraig and his team persevered through these difficult times and now operate at full capacity, offering music entertainment services for various events such as weddings, receptions, private parties (including corporate holiday parties and birthday parties), and more.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Kraig has been happily married to his wife, Jennie, for over 15 years. Together, they have a 13-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son, along with two rescue dogs. Kraig is also involved in personal interests such as keeping up with technology innovations, engaging in general home improvement projects, and actively contributing to his community. He continuously stays updated on the latest trends and technologies to ensure that his company can bring his clients’ visions to life.
