Kraig and Jennie were absolutely amazing to work with. They are organized and extremely knowledgeable. With our wedding being in a venue with high ceilings and potentially challenging acoustics, they worked to successfully use their equipment and technical knowledge to curate a wonderful evening for us. They worked seamlessly with our photographer and coordinator to execute personalized moments and helped bring our vision to life!
Kraig knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor while also respecting our musical preferences. Jennie ensured that everything ran smoothly and kept us up to date with any necessary details throughout the evening. We would recommend RVA DJ Sandman to absolutely anyone in a heartbeat!!
Burkwood Swim and Racquet Club - 12/3/2022
RVA DJ Sandman made our annual Holiday Party a huge success! They were very easy to work with start to finish. Not only did the music sound great but the set up looked clean and professional (go for the up lighting!) They were very catering to the members’ requests and at the end of the night when people didn’t want to go home, they played an extra song or two. Had a great follow up conversation about the event at the end of the night and really look forward to using them for our future parties!
Mallory Wedding - 10/22/2022
They went above and beyond! They came to the rehearsal dinner to make sure all the timing and everything was right with the music, and noticed small details to make sure everything went smoothly. They directed everyone to where they should be for the cocktail hour, reception, and exit. They seriously took care of everything from start to finish and tried to make it as easy as possible for the bride and groom which we definitely appreciate!!

We have used RVA DJ Sandman several times for our neighborhood events and they are great! Always on time, reliable, professional and easy to work with. They have cool lights that they will personalize for your event. They communicate well and are very responsive. I highly recommend this DJ for your next event!
Scuderi Wedding - 4/23/22
We couldn’t have been happier with our DJ! He provided a very easy to use website that allowed us to provide our ‘vision’ for the day. The website let us select songs that we absolutely wanted played and songs that we did not want played. The website made it really easy to add and update the schedule for the day. I loved that we were able to meet with the DJ before our big day, it really made me feel comfortable with our plan, and I knew the day would go smoothly! The DJ played the perfect genres of music for our big day, the music during dinner was exactly what we wanted, and really spoke to who we were as a couple. During the reception, the crowd really loved the song choices, we were all jamming out and singing our hearts out. The DJ was so smart when it came to reading the room, if the ‘vibe’ started to slow down, he knew exactly what to play to get the crowd hyped up!!! We picked some songs for the reception but left a lot up to the DJ, and he really picked the perfect songs for us. The DJ took time to get to know us as a couple, so he knew what songs to play for our big day. He did a great job introducing the wedding party and helped keep the reception flowing so we weren’t behind schedule. When the event was over, we were getting compliment after compliment about our DJ choice, and how great it was! The setup looked great, and the speakers were perfectly placed for the dancefloor but they were angled so there was still room for conversation if you wanted a quiet spot, it appealed to all our guests! We couldn’t thank DJ Sandman enough for helping to make our day so special!!! We will definitely be a retuning customer for our next event!
